Are MiniTrucks Legal in Canada?

Good news! They ARE completely legal in Canada. Import regulations allow the registration and licensing of MiniTrucks as long as they meet the following requirements:

Vehicles are at least 15 years old

Transport Canada allows vehicles into Canada as long as they are 15 years (to the month) or older.

Duties, GST, PST paid at importation

Unless you're an importer, you don't have to worry about these. They are already paid at the time of importation.

Provincial Safety and E-test Certified

Your province required each vehicle has undergone and passed safety and emissions testing.
